Social Media Assistant — Fieldstone Home

Location: Norfolk, VA (On-Site)
Status: Part-Time (15–20 hours/week), with potential for expanded hours during peak seasons

Fieldstone Home, a division of WT Collection, is seeking a Social Media Assistant to support ongoing content creation, brand communication, and digital engagement efforts. This role works closely with our marketing and product teams to ensure Fieldstone's voice and visual identity show up consistently across platforms.

We're looking for someone who's organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking direction while also bringing creative, fresh ideas forward. If you enjoy home décor and have an eye for clean, cohesive visual storytelling, you'll fit right in.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, schedule, and publish content across social media channels using Meta Business Suite
• Maintain consistency in Fieldstone's brand voice, visual tone, and messaging
• Assist with basic photography, staging, and editing for product content
• Support campaign planning, seasonal initiatives, and trade-show marketing pushes
• Organize posting calendars and ensure deadlines are met
• Pull platform metrics and assist in reporting performance trends
• Provide community management support (comments, messages, tags)
• Assist with catalog layouts using Canva and Adobe programs (Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat)
• On-site presence is needed for product photography support and collaboration with the internal team

Desired Skill Set

Proficiency in the following programs/tools:

• Adobe Photoshop

• Canva
• ChatGPT
• AI Image and Video Editing Tools
• Constant Contact
• Meta Business Suite

Additional strengths:

• Understanding of basic photography principles (lighting, composition, framing, depth of field)
• Ability to craft posts that reflect a consistent brand voice
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as a team, managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience with home décor, lifestyle brands, or retail/wholesale environments is a plus

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
