What will you do?

In this role, you will assemble components for custom material handling systems while working in a shop environment. You will be required to follow blueprint specifications, and operate hand and power tools and various lifting equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review job specifications and pull necessary parts for assembly.
• Verify materials and set up the assembly process.
• Assemble parts to blueprint specs using hand, power, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools.
• Inspect the final product and transport it to the shipping department.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and safe manner.
• Operate a crane or hoist to lift more than 50 lbs.
• Work in a safe manner and wear PPE as required entire shift.
• Work in other areas or departments as assigned.
• Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday 8AM-4PM

Key Competencies:

• Average math skills, simple oral communication skills; ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English and complete simple logs and reports in English
• Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/16th
• Background in assembly or installation and good mechanical aptitude.
• Experience reading blueprints
• Physically able to handle heavy items including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning products
• Work scheduled hours and comply with the company's timekeeping policy and all other company policies
• Consistently stand for an entire shift
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled shop environment
• Ability to work with others and be a team player
• Accuracy, Reliability
• Quality focus
