Are you a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves creating memorable guest experiences? We're looking for an Assistant Manager to partner with our General Manager in leading daily operations, developing high-performing teams, and driving restaurant success.

This is a salaried leadership role with bonus potential, offering stability, growth, and the opportunity to make a real impact at the store level.

What You'll Do

As an Assistant Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring operational excellence while fostering a positive, guest-focused culture.

Operations & Performance

  • Support daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
  • Ensure food quality, service standards, cleanliness, and safety compliance
  • Monitor and control labor, food costs, and expenses to meet financial goals
  • Post and manage store invoices within the restaurant management system

Leadership & Culture

  • Act as a culture champion by modeling professionalism, teamwork, and exceptional guest service
  • Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate team members, providing ongoing feedback and recognition
  • Participate in coaching and disciplinary conversations when needed
  • Assist in creating weekly schedules to support operational needs

Guest Experience

  • Address guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Create a welcoming environment that keeps guests coming back

Food Preparation & Equipment

  • Prepare batches of food cooked to order or held warm
  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills and deep fryers
  • Prepare, wash, and cut food ingredients
  • Multitask efficiently to prepare multiple orders accurately
  • Operate batch machines to produce eegees, ensuring quality and safety

Growth & Strategy

  • Collaborate with other departments on promotions and local marketing initiatives
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and opportunities to improve performance
  • Take on additional responsibilities aligned with the role
What We're Looking For

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to perform well under pressure
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven leadership, organization, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and restaurant management software
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of six (6) months of experience in fast food or restaurant operations
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
  • Reliable transportation
  • Current Food Handler's Card (Maricopa & Pinal counties only)
  • Food Protection Manager Certification within 90 days of hire
Physical & Work Requirements
  • Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs
  • Work around hot equipment, oil, cold environments, and loud noise
  • Perform repetitive physical tasks including bending, lifting, and handling materials
  • Willingness to travel to other store locations as needed
