Milk Source is seeking a self-motivated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic team. This vital role works collaboratively within the department as well as with managers, employees, and other departments to provide support in multiple functional areas of HR including:
- Manage life-cycle recruitment process as well as onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and promotions processes.
- Benefits Administration including the management of our open enrollment processes.
- Workers Compensation case management, monthly safety analysis and reporting, and OSHA Compliance and reporting.
- Assist with Payroll Administration of 600+ employees.
- Preparing a variety of detailed reports and analysis to support our management team.
- Assist with development and implementation of employee appreciation events and initiatives across the company.

Reports to: Human Resources Supervisor
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Recruit for all open positions including job description creation, maintenance, and annual review.
- Work within recruitment websites to source and invite candidates.
- Schedule and conduct phone screens.
- Schedule onsite interviews with the hiring managers.
- Complete employment verifications.
- Draft and present employment offers.
- Prepare and schedule various onboarding items and training within HR department and with other departments to ensure successful set up and first day.
- Coordinates onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and promotions processes including management of organizational charts for the company.
- Lead day-to-day administration of Health/Vision/Dental/Short Term Disability Insurance including monthly enrollment and qualifying events.
- Work with managers to complete new hire benefit enrollment applications each month.
- Process benefit enrollment applications in Employee Navigator and confirm enrollment in provider websites and accurate deductions in our payroll system.
- Assist in managing company benefit system, Employee Navigator.
- Answer employee questions regarding Health/Dental/Vision/Short Term Disability Insurance.
- Investigate and report back to employees with any issues they have with insurance.
- Lead the management of annual insurance open enrollment process including coordination of Wellness Program.
- Assist in the insurance renewal planning process which includes meeting with Brokers and Providers and preparing various documents and systems for the new plan year.
- Assist in the review and update of Company Wellness Program for insurance renewal year including manager and employee communications, flyers, etc.
- Manage and schedule on-site annual biometric health screenings with individual site leaders including employee screen time and attends on-site screenings when possible.
- Work directly with managers to ensure all employees complete their open enrollment applications in Employee Navigator.
- Audit and confirm employee insurance changes with insurance carriers and ensures employees have the correct coverage and payroll deductions for their elections.
- Update payroll system with any premium changes for new plan year.
- Manage required monthly reporting and annual filings with our payroll provider for Form 1095-Cs.
- Manage day-to-day Workers Compensation case management including injury reporting and follow-up as well as annual Workers Compensation audit process.
- Prepare monthly safety analysis and reporting for leadership team and various managers.
- Manage day-to-day OSHA compliance including OSHA 300 Log records and annual OSHA 300A submission as well as collaboration with Safety Director to identify and assist with safety issues/trends.
- Assist Safety Director with managing the recordkeeping of safety training programs, training tracking, and compliance within the Risk Management Center system.
- Cross-trained and may assist with payroll administration of more than 600+ employees including various assistance during bi-weekly payroll processing and refresher training and participation on a quarterly basis.
- Assist with processing new hire paperwork, address changes, employment changes, etc. in DocuSign, payroll system, and other various systems/programs.
- Assist with tracking and deducting all garnishments and other payroll deductions (rent, insurance premiums, etc.).
- Assist with company housing and lease management process when needed.
- Assist with processing year-end payroll, adjustments, and reporting (S-Corp, fringe benefits, W2s, etc.).
- Assist with development and implementation of employee appreciation events and initiatives across the company.
- Assist with planning and executing various company events and activities such as office activities/lunches, annual Culture Trainings, etc.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to prepare various benefits, payroll, and ad hoc reports for management team.
- Assist with FMLA/Leave of Absence cases and administration when needed.
- Perform all duties in a safe manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- Minimum BS degree in related field OR minimum 2-4 years human resources experience.
- Highly motivated individual with aptitude to take initiative to learn and grow within role.
- Strong Microsoft Excel experience including understanding how to do VLOOKUPs, create and utilize PivotTables, create If Statements, etc. for various leadership/company reporting.

- Dependable and able to prioritize and manage competing work duties with efficiency.

- Experience in Paychex Flex, SharePoint, SmartSheet, DocuSign, and Employee Navigator is a plus.
- Multi-facility experience preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

- Demonstrates a strong understanding of the company's policies and procedures outlined in the company handbook and can effectively communicate those to others.
Pay: $70, $80,000.00 per year
