Painter

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques, construction practices, and maintenance tasks. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality work, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members on diverse projects in commercial settings.

Responsibilities

• Execute commercial painting projects with precision and care.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed.
• Utilize various painting techniques including airless paint spraying and plastering to achieve desired finishes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and renovation plans to ensure accurate execution of projects.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as caulking, fixture installation, and minor repairs as required.
• Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, including power tools and hand tools.
• Assist with drywall finishing, trim carpentry, and other maintenance person tasks as needed.

Skills

• Strong understanding of color theory and its application in painting projects.
• Experience in commercial painting, industrial painting, and restoration work.
• Familiarity with construction site practices and safety protocols.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
• Skills in plastering, stucco application, caulking, frame carpentry, trim carpentry, and remodeling tasks.
• Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
