Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks and beverages using various brewing methods while maintaining food safety standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their café experience
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling procedures with precision and integrity
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food preparation surfaces, seating areas, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks to ensure fresh offerings are available at all times
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while balancing multiple responsibilities

Experience

• Prior barista experience or background in coffee service is highly preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS will help you hit the ground running
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math tasks
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in a food industry setting
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
• Previous retail or food service experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
