Position Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Manager of Environmental Services, the EVS Worker implements and maintains a clean and safe environment for patients, staff and visitors by adhering to strict infection control standards, properly managing waste disposal and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the hospital campus. The employee must:
- Follow procedures / processes established by the Manager of Environmental Services;
- Keep assigned areas clean and hazard free;
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies;
- Track cleaning solutions by open and expiration dates;
- Store / keep cleaning solutions following established benchmarks;
The Environmental Services Worker must be able to perform / work in an efficient and friendly manner. The employee must also:
- Maintain clean and sanitary conditions through attention to detail;
- Demonstrate the ability of perform repetitive cleaning tasks while standing for extended periods of time;
- Maintain a positive attitude and interacting respectfully with patients, staff and visitors; and
- Ensure that all duties are completed efficiently and on schedule.

Qualifications- Base Compensation Range: $ $22.38 hourly, based on years of relevant experience. "Relevant experience" means relevant to the employee's responsibilities set forth in the job description as determined by the HR Manager, CAO, applicable department manager/director and applicable senior leader.
- Shift Differential Pay:
- Swing Shift Differential: Employees who work majority of hours between 2:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. receive a Swing Shift Differential of an additional $3.00 per hour.
- Night Shift Differential: Employees who work majority of hours between 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. receive a Night Shift Differential of an additional $5.00 per hour.
- Benefits: Benefits include generous paid time off, separate sick leave, health, dental, vision, life and AD&D insurance, long-term disability and option for short-term disability, and retirement plan with employer contribution.
- Job Type: Full-time
- Anticipated End Date for Posting: December 31, 2025. The deadline may close sooner due to an unanticipated business necessity, such as an incumbent vacating the role earlier than anticipated. You are encouraged to apply well in advance of the deadline.
