Job Description:
Carolina Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a friendly, reliable Front Desk Receptionist to join our team Our office hours are 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, four days a week. We pride ourselves on delivering the "Disney experience" — creating a warm, welcoming, and magical environment for every patient and family who walks through our doors. This role requires excellent punctuality and attendance, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities:
As a Front Office staff member, you play a vital role in the daily operations of our practice. Your responsibilities are essential to ensuring a smooth, professional, and patient-centered experience. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
- Verifying insurance coverage for all clinical appointments
- Collecting payments for services rendered
- Developing and maintaining doctor and hygiene schedules as needed
- Greeting and checking in/out patients before and after treatment
- Educating, consulting, and presenting patient treatment plans
- Managing accounts receivable, including sending billing statements, reviewing aging reports, and handling collections, if applicable
- Filing insurance pre-determinations
- Conducting financial consultations with patients when new treatment plans are presented, as applicable
Your attention to detail, professionalism, and communication are key to the success of both the front office and the overall patient experience.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of two years of front office experience preferably in a dental setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of dental software strongly preferred.
Salary Range: $16 -$22 hourly
