  Job Summary


The Inventory & Warehouse Clerk is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including accurate shipping, receiving, inventory control, and documentation. This role ensures all outbound materials are inspected, packaged, and shipped according to company standards and export regulations. The position also manages inbound receipts, verifies documentation, resolves discrepancies, and assists with coordinating domestic and international freight.


Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Process and fulfill outbound orders for domestic and international customers, including verifying product traceability, conducting inspections, and obtaining required certifications.
     
  • Prepare and review shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and export declarations, to ensure compliance with international trade requirements.
     
  • Package outbound materials using industry best practices to ensure safe, damage-free transport.
     
  • Receive all inbound shipments by verifying products and paperwork against purchase orders; record receipts in the system, including scanned quality documents and photographs when required.
     
  • Identify, document, and report non-conformities in product or documentation, and coordinate resolution with internal teams, suppliers, or customers.
     
  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, and freight carriers safely and efficiently.
     
  • Arrange and coordinate outbound freight, ensuring timely routing, cost-effective shipment selection, and ongoing monitoring of carrier performance and rates.
     
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, following company procedures and applicable regulations.
     
  • Perform inventory-related tasks, including stock checks, cycle counts, and reconciliation as needed.
     
  • Other duties as assigned to support warehouse and logistics operations.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation, reporting, and communication.
     
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
     
  • Ability to accurately follow procedures, maintain clear records, and ensure documentation integrity.
     
  • Skilled at identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving documentation or quality discrepancies.
     
  • Capable of performing the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
     
  • Forklift certification preferred; willingness to train is an asset.
     
  • Demonstrated core competencies: Flexibility, Judgment, Reliability, Teamwork,
    Adaptability, Communication, Organization, and Physical Capability.
     
Education and Experience
  • 1–2 years of experience in warehouse, inventory control, distribution, or logistics operations.
     
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
     
  • A suitable combination of experience and education may be considered.
     
Work Environment
  • Work is performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to machinery, equipment, noise, and varying temperatures.
     
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required, depending on the task.
