Pay: $23.50–$28 per hour, based on experience

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our surgical team. This role includes clinical, administrative, and operating room responsibilities and is ideal for candidates with experience or a strong interest in cosmetic surgery and ambulatory surgical care.
Responsibilities:
Clinical & Patient Care Duties
- Prepare exam rooms and assist with patient intake
- Take and document vital signs and medical histories
- Assist the surgeon during in-office procedures and treatments
- Provide thorough pre-operative and post-operative patient care and education
- Take standardized pre- and post-procedure clinical photographs
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality at all times
Surgical & Operating Room Duties
- Assist with pre-op and post-op surgical patient care
- Circulate during surgical procedures as needed
- Prepare, set up, and break down the operating room before and after cases
- Clean, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
- Maintain strict sterile technique and infection control standards
- Assist with maintaining Joint Commission certification and compliance
- Monitor inventory and order operating room and surgical supplies
- Ensure the surgical suite is clean, organized, and fully prepared for cases
Administrative Duties
- Greet and room patients in a professional and welcoming manner
- Schedule appointments and assist with surgical coordination and follow-ups
- Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using EMR/EHR systems
- Assist with general office and clinical workflow as needed
Qualifications:
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA/CCMA) preferred
- Experience in an ambulatory surgery center or cosmetic surgery practice is highly valued
- Knowledge of operating room protocols and sterile technique
- Familiarity with Joint Commission standards preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Professional demeanor and ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment
