Restoration Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing restoration services including water and fire damage repair, mold remediation. This role requires hands-on work utilizing various tools and equipment to restore properties efficiently and safely. Prior experience in the restoration industry is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with a strong work ethic. The Restoration Technician plays a vital role in helping clients recover from property damage while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform water damage restoration, fire restoration, mold remediation.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment to carry out restoration tasks effectively.
• Conduct carpet cleaning, cleaning of affected areas, and debris removal.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely, adhering to industry standards and safety protocols.
• Assist with demolition, cleaning, and rebuilding processes as needed during restoration projects.
• Follow detailed work plans and document progress throughout each project.
• Ensure work areas are kept clean and organized to promote safety and efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project status and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of fire restoration, water damage repair, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and carpet cleaning is preferred.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other specialized equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
• Valid driver's license is a plus; willingness to travel locally for projects is required.
