About this Role:
The role of the Analyst II is to work independently to perform the more responsible, varied, complex, and technical analytical assignments required to meet the operational needs of the Project Coordination Unit. The Analyst II works independently, and in a team, of Analyst II's and/or Analyst I's to execute administrative and technical activities and duties associated with the CalAIM 1115 demonstration, the 1915(b) waiver and other state plan amendments. The Analyst II may act as lead over Unit staff. This position requires the ability to analyze data and clearly and effectively present ideas, both orally and in writing, develop briefing documents, issue papers, ad-hoc reports to Managed Care Plans (MCPs) and stakeholders, and other necessary written products.

Working Conditions
This position may be eligible for telework up to three days per week and is required to report in-person and site-based a minimum of two days per week. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and is subject to change consistent with DHCS' Telework Program and Government Code sections 14200 – Telework is available to California residents, and proof of residency may be required.
The DHCS office location for this position is located at 11050 Olson Drive, Rancho Cordova, CA.
Effective July 1, 2025, the California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) implemented the temporary Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP PLP 2025 directs that each employee receive a temporary reduction in pay in exchange for PLP 2025 leave credits. The temporary salary reduction percentage and the number of PLP 2025 leave credits are based on the position's associated bargaining unit.
