We're supporting an Indiana-based manufacturer of tactical fuel and water systems. If you enjoy turning requirements into manufacturable designs backed by analysis, let's talk.

Is this you?
  • Do you transform requirements and standards into clear, feasible design criteria?
  • Can you move from napkin sketch to robust CAD model—and document every decision?
  • Do you lead milestone reviews that keep projects on time and on spec?
  • Are your BOMs complete, accurate, and production-ready?
  • Do you rely on CAE/CFD to validate thermal/flow/structural performance before metal is cut?
  • Can you create unambiguous drawings that machinists trust?
  • Do you collaborate closely with machine shops to protect design intent?
  • Are you comfortable supporting builds and resolving issues on the floor?
  • Can you produce schematics that communicate mech–electrical interfaces at a glance?
  • Do you partner with vendors to integrate the right technologies at acceptable cost and timing?
What you will impact
  • Requirements analysis against customer expectations and industry norms.
  • End-to-end design: concept development, CAD, and documentation control.
  • Structured design reviews to manage deliverables and de-risk schedules.
  • Accurate BOM creation and maintenance.
  • Virtual validation through CAE and CFD, plus targeted testing.
  • Release of detailed manufacturing drawings.
  • Shop collaboration to ensure manufacturability and quality.
  • Post-manufacturing and assembly support.
  • Mechanical/electrical schematic development for clear interfaces.
  • Vendor engagement for technology selection and problem-solving.
What you bring
  • BS or MS in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering (or related).
  • 5+ years in design, development, and product release.
  • Expertise in CAD; SolidWorks preferred.
  • Proficiency in CAE/CFD with a track record of performance optimization.
  • Strong structural design foundation.
  • Six Sigma certification preferred; PE preferred; PMP a plus.
  • Familiarity with 3D printing/additive manufacturing.
  • History of workflow optimization and accelerating time-to-market.
  • Experience leading cross-functional efforts with engineering, manufacturing, and quality.
