Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Boom Truck Operator to join our structural steel company in Spring Grove, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating boom truck for setting structural steel

Responsibilities

• Operate boom trucks with crane.
• Load, unload, and set structural steel
• Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
• Coordinate with project managers and team members to facilitate timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance needs.
• Follow all safety protocols and construction site regulations to prevent accidents or injuries.

Experience

• Prior experience operating cranes.
• Construction site experience is essential for understanding project workflows and safety procedures.
• Mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting is advantageous.
• Commercial driving experience with CDL is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $31.19 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
