Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity
• Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization standards to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable nail treatments or enhancements
• Stay updated on current trends in nail design, color theory, and application techniques to provide innovative services
• Promote retail sales of nail care products and accessories to enhance client results and satisfaction
• Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of workstations and tools throughout each shift
• Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication skills, upselling additional services, and personalized attention

Experience

• Proven experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar role within the beauty industry
• Knowledge of color theory, nail care techniques, and current trends in nail art and design
• Familiarity with sanitation protocols for sterilizing tools and maintaining a hygienic workspace
• Experience with advanced treatments such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, dermabrasion, or esthetic laser treatments is a plus
• Ability to perform hair extensions, hair styling, hair threading, barbering or related cosmetology services is advantageous
• Strong communication skills for engaging clients effectively and providing excellent customer service
• Basic retail math skills for upselling products confidently while ensuring customer satisfaction
