Role Overview

The Senior Process Engineer will provide hands-on support for
commercial aseptic syringe filling operations
, working directly within the manufacturing environment. This role is embedded with production teams to support day-to-day operations, resolve technical challenges, and drive continuous improvements in line performance, yield, and throughput.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on process engineering support for
    live commercial syringe filling lines
    .
  • Optimize line performance, throughput, and yield to support production targets.
  • Support later-stage batch operations on syringe filling lines.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and process parameter deviations in real time.
  • Partner closely with
    Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Quality
    teams to ensure reliable and compliant operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance line efficiency and operational robustness.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 10–15+ years
    of process engineering experience in
    pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing
    .
  • Extensive, hands-on experience with
    aseptic syringe filling operations
    .
  • Proven experience optimizing
    existing commercial filling lines
    .
  • Direct experience with
    Bausch + Ströbel syringe filling equipment
    .
  • Strong manufacturing floor presence with the ability to support live production activities.
