Field Services Engineer

The territory for this opportunity is the United States. Right now most of their business is on the East Coast.

Compensation for this opportunity will be between $95K- $105K depending on experience. Company Overview Our client is a fast-growing diagnostics and life sciences company offering a broad instrumentation portfolio, including:
• Digital pathology solutions
• Automated microbiology platforms
• Histology and pathology equipment
• High-volume consumables and reagents Due to rapid expansion and new product launches, the company is building out its national technical service team to support installations, maintenance, and ongoing customer success. Position Summary The Field Service Engineer (FSE) will install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair diagnostic laboratory instruments across the U.S. This includes digital pathology systems, automated microbiology instruments, printers, scanners, and select histology devices. This is a highly technical, customer-facing role requiring strong mechanical ability, IT competence, and a willingness to travel extensively. Key Responsibilities Technical Service & Troubleshooting
• Perform installations, preventative maintenance, repairs, calibrations, and system validations.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, software, and connectivity issues.
• Provide technical support for digital pathology and automated microbiology instruments.
• Maintain detailed service records, logs, and regulatory documentation. IT & LIS Integration (Strong Plus)
• Support integrations between instruments and LIS / hospital IT environments.
• Configure or troubleshoot: o VM servers o Ports, firewalls, and networking o Windows environments
• Collaborate with client IT teams during go-live and setup phases. _
