Maintenance Manager

Wellington Place at Rib Mountain is currently seeking a person to fill their Part-time (24 hours a week) Maintenance position to perform daily maintenance functions. This individual would be working part-time hours under the Facility Administrator to ensure the facility's building and grounds are properly maintained, that proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies is a priority and promote continuous improvement of workplace safety.

Qualifications Required:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school education or the equivalent
• Must be physically able to waist lift, push and/or pull maximum of 80 pounds
• Must be able to frequently bend, squat or climb during an 8-hour day
• Must have ability to complete minor building repairs and use of appropriate tools.
• Must maintain professional courteous manner with all residents and fellow employees.
• Must be English literate

Working Conditions:

• May be exposed to working with chemicals
• May be subject to differing temperatures
• May be involved unexpectedly, or on short notice, to tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or mucous membranes
• May be subject to varying hours (maybe be subject to early morning hours, early evenings hours, and some weekends)

Essential Functions of the Job and Departmental Expectations:

• Maintain the facility building and grounds, according to local, state and federal regulations.
• To assist with snow removal in the winter and the proper maintenance of all walkways and entrances at all times
• To care for and maintain tools and equipment belonging to the facility.
• To move resident's furniture, clothing, etc. to assigned room.
• To perform any and all other duties assigned by the Facility Administrator in an effort to maintain a quality maintained facility.
