Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

  • Provide vision, leadership, and oversight for all Minders Connect programs (e.g., Autism Waiver, DDA, respite, IISS, community supports).
  • Develop and implement annual program goals, outcomes, and quality improvement plans.
  • Serve as a mentor to Program Coordinators, DSPs, and other staff—modeling professionalism, integrity, and person-centered care.

Program Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure programs operate in full compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations (e.g., COMAR, Autism Waiver, Medicaid requirements).
  • Oversee scheduling structures and staff-to-client ratios to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Review critical incident reports, audits, and corrective action plans; lead follow-up and staff training as needed.

Staff Supervision & Development

  • Directly supervise Program Coordinators, Case Managers, and selected program staff.
  • Conduct regular supervision meetings, performance evaluations, and coaching sessions.
  • Support staff development through training, mentoring, and sharing of best practices gained from prior career experience.

Treatment Plans & Behavior Protocols

· Provide oversight and final approval of all treatment plans and behavior support protocols used within Minders Connect programs.

· Develop and ensure treatment plans and behavior protocols are person-centered, clinically sound, and compliant with Autism Waiver, COMAR, and Medicaid requirements.

· Collaborate with clinical staff (e.g., treatment plan writers, RNs) to review and update plans regularly and after any significant change in a person's needs or behavior.

· Monitor implementation of treatment plans and behavior protocols through supervision, documentation review, and data trends, and initiate corrective action or retraining when needed.

· Lead or participate in interdisciplinary team meetings where treatment plans and behavior protocols are developed, reviewed, and revised.

Family, Stakeholder & Community Relations

  • Serve as a primary contact for families, case managers, school systems, and community partners.
  • Represent Minders Connect at meetings, case conferences, and community events.
  • Foster a welcoming, culturally sensitive environment for families from diverse backgrounds.

Administrative & Fiscal Management

  • Collaborate with leadership on budget planning, staffing models, and resource allocation for programs.
  • Monitor program metrics, service utilization, and outcomes; provide regular reports to the Executive Director/CEO.
  • Participate in grant writing, reporting, and program development as needed.

Qualifications

Pay: $70,000.00 per year
