We are in search of a motivated self-starter LAN Technician with strong written and verbal communication skills to support our U.S. Navy customer. Responsibilities in this position include, but are not limited to, management and deployment of mobile technology, troubleshooting, vendor engagement and inventory.

Additionally assisting in the management and deployment of telephony (including PBX), VoIP, ISDN, VTC, and Mobile and Desk Phone services to include assist local support teams and end-users. The selected applicant will work as part of an integrated team including system administrators, end user support staff and other personnel on site.

LOCATION: Virginia Beach, VA (or within ~60 mile radius)

SIGN ON BONUS: 30-days after onboarding and contingent upon signing within 7 days of this posting.

CLEARANCE: Secret

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist local support teams in management of physical LAN line services and end user deployment of phone cabling, hardware, voicemail and other LAN related services
· Install and configure hardware and software components as necessary in support of the Division Branch head
· Upgrade mobility systems to enable compatible software and ensure seamless device deployments when needed
· Manage and report on all activities, data calls and other site requirements related to landline and mobility services or devices
· Perform application tests on new hardware and software to ensure mobility functionality performs as expected
· Keep management appropriately informed of progress or issues and be able to provide solutions
· Engage with Vendor service providers to manage and deploy mobile, audio and video equipment
· Deploy mobile devices using Intune and Purebred to ensure individual and regulatory requirements are met
· Assign mobility devices such as iPhones, iPads, and MiFis to end user community
· Work alongside staff to troubleshoot landlines, Voicemail services and deploy physical phone devices
· Provide full end user support related to telephony services such as voicemail services, desk phone issues, landlines, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $61, $75,900.00 per year
