Description:

TapHere is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Jr. System Administrator to join the team in the Annapolis Junction, MD.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supports the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization.
• Supports upgrades to computer components and software, management of virtual servers, and integration of automation processes.
• Supports troubleshooting hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
• Supports documentation and technical specifications for planning and implementing new or upgraded IT infrastructure.
• Supports regular backup operations and implements appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
• Supports desktop and helpdesk efforts, ensuring all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
• Supports capacity, storage planning, and database performance.
• Monitors and manages all installed systems and infrastructure

Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field
• HS and 4 years of experience; Associates and 2 years of experience
• DoD m IAM Level III
