Warehouse Shift Supervisor

REQUIREMENTS/MUST HAVES :

• Must  have warehouse experience
• Must be willing to train M-F 7a-5p and then once training is complete, must be able to work A shift (7a-7p swing shift)
• Must  have supervisory experience, preferably in a warehouse setting
• Must have forklift experience and the ability  to successfully complete forklift training

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Oversee and schedule personnel to accomplish the scheduled work making sure it is completed efficiently, up to quality standards, and safely
• Provide guidance, assistance, and training to employees when needed.
• Ensure good labor relations through fairly administered rules as defined in the labor agreement and company policies.
• Monitor the work of employees by inspecting work for accuracy, quality, and throughput
• Maintain and organize within the department
• Ensure that inventory levels are accurate by working with the Warehouse Manager on discarding obsolete packaging and scheduled inventory adjustments.
• Work with the manager of the department and other personnel to accomplish duties as agreed upon.
• Follow all safety rules for department and entire facility.
• General housekeeping as needed.
• Be aware of Aquafil's Recycling Guidelines and Environmental Management Systems Policy (see supervisor if further explanation is needed).
