In the context of an upcoming retirement, we are looking for our Production Department a: Assembly Manager & Production Manager. Activity rate: 100%. Work location: Meyrin (Geneva). Type of contract: permanent (CDI). Start date: Last quarter, no later than MissionIn accordance with quality, cost, and deadlines objectives, you will manage a production team, namely the Assembly department and its operations. - Ensure the smooth running of assembly processes: assembly, pre-assembly, mounting, marking, setting, and laser technology.- Guarantee product quality at the departmental level.- Manage the production schedule with the Production Director: organize work, monitor, and adjust production flow to meet objectives (quality, timing, and cost).- Optimize production flows and circuits to reduce time and costs; analyze data, resources, constraints, direct and indirect costs.- Ensure maintenance by managing priorities with the Maintenance service.- Provide daily high-value technical support to the production team.- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPI): productivity, efficiency, quality, continuous improvement rate.- Collaborate with support services to identify levers for production management, tooling, layout, and necessary investments in organization and layout.- Be attentive and adapt to changes (agility): products, technologies, working methods.Team Management- Analyze workloads and team capacities and adapt the structure of your service to the needs of work and teams: distribute work and adjust staffing according to needs and contingencies.- Unite and lead the Assembly team by developing skills and versatility within the department on internal procedures: production, quality, organization, and safety.- Ensure compliance with internal regulations, safety standards, and the work environment.Your Qualifications & Knowledge- Degree in mechanics or complementary studies in leadership and/or team management.- Good knowledge of product processes in an industrial environment.- Mastery of problem-solving methods based on reading plans according to ISO standards.- Knowledge of functional quality (aesthetic dimension appreciated as well).- Proficiency in standard tools (Office Suite).- Knowledge of an ERP (SAP is a plus) and a MES.Experience & Skills- Proven experience of at least 3 years as a manager of a production team, ideally in a watchmaking or precision micromechanics environment (within an assembly department is a plus).- Ability to drive projects: monitoring and continuous improvement of processes to formalize processes and procedures.- Capacity to analyze, anticipate, and optimize production flows, bringing a critical and constructive perspective.Soft Skills & Leadership- Strong professional awareness: sense of responsibility, urgency, and priorities.- Proactive, reactive personality and good interpersonal skills, with the ability to unify teams around common objectives.- Technical and field leadership: daily presence in operations, leading by example, establishing legitimacy through technical competence, team spirit, and transparency.- Developed analytical mind, ability to question, and high potential technical and leadership vision, reliable and recognized as trustworthy.BOUCLEDOR in a few words…Boucledor is an expertise with high added value in the field of Haute Horlogerie since, specializing in the design of buckles, clasps, and weights.
