Border Enforcement Opportunity

This is a career-ladder position that offers the opportunity to work with an elite team of highly trained professionals in law enforcement. The Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer will be part of the Department of Homeland Security workforce, protecting American interests and securing our nation.

The CBP officer's primary role is to enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations while facilitating legitimate trade and travel. They conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances, determine admissibility for entry into the United States, prevent illegal entry, smuggling of drugs or contraband.

• To inspect vehicles,trains,buses etc.,at border crossing points,detain violators,enforce federal,state,and local laws;

• Promote effective customs service delivery through quality personnel management practices;

• Analyze information from various sources regarding import/export trade trends,patterns,effects on US economy;
