Salary: Starting from £70,000, depending on experience, plus a car allowance and bonus!
What You’ll Be Doing:- Optimizing Architecture Solutions: Align solutions with schedules, scope, requirements, and strategic objectives.
- Influencing Across Levels: Collaborate with everyone from Directors to Subject Matter Experts, leading a team of architects to gain consensus on solutions.
- Designing Enterprise-Level Solutions: Utilize the latest SIEMENS CAD & PLM software to implement innovative solutions.
- Integrating Systems: Seamlessly integrate into existing CAM, MES, and ERP solutions to enhance quality and manufacturing processes.
- Evaluating Technologies: Select the right technologies and vendors to meet the needs of BAE’s Submarine programme.
- Resolving Technical Issues: Work with technology and software partners to tackle complex challenges.
- Developing Frameworks: Maintain enterprise architecture frameworks that align business demands with industry best practices.
- Managing Governance Processes: Ensure that solution builds meet architectural and design quality criteria.
Essential:
- Experience as a CAD or PLM Consultant/Architect with a strong background in designing solutions for large engineering programmes.
- Familiarity with architecture repository tools like Enterprise Architect and architecture modelling frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging at all levels, especially during business change events.
Desirable:
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence or similar collaboration technologies supporting agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of SAP and PE&O product suites for large manufacturing projects.
