Acutronic is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer III to join the Acutronic Aerospace Division. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting firmware and supporting software applications for our actuator, power systems, microturbine, and turbogenerator products. Embedded Software Engineer III
Architect firmware for embedded systems in C on TI C2000 and Atmel AVR microcontroller targets and supporting software applications for testing firmware and hardware Develop software development plans and estimate time and costs for software development projects Develop derived requirements for software from customer specifications Review electrical design in support of software development and implementation Perform static and dynamic analysis of code base Work with cross-functional team to debug and troubleshoot hardware/software integration issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc. Write and maintain technical documentation for design and implementation
Master of Science Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required Strong proficiency in C programming language and standard tools such as IDEs, Git version control, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc. Working experience developing low level drivers for communication protocols such as UART, CAN, SPI, I2C Working experience using real-time operating systems (e.g. Understanding of low-level hardware interactions, memory management, and peripheral configurations
