Meet the Team The Cloud + AI Infrastructure team is essential in devising scalable strategies and localized executions that transform data centers and drive customer growth. As the go-to market engine for compute and data center networking, we aim to capture market transitions and empower our sales team to enhance customer engagement and growth for Cisco. Your Impact As an AI Solutions Architect, you will be integral to our innovative sales team, steering the implementation of our AI infrastructure solutions across diverse industries. Your key responsibilities will include: Identifying potential clients and analyzing their unique needs. Delivering customized solutions that optimize business operations. Building awareness and fostering enthusiasm for AI technologies among technical and account teams, as well as customer partnerships. Showcasing Cisco's AI infrastructure solutions, highlighting their technical and tactical benefits. Serving as a crucial liaison among technical teams, account teams, executives, and clients. Engaging in the design, development, and promotion of AI solutions while addressing challenges that arise. Traveling as necessary to meet with clients and participate in industry events. Minimum Qualifications 4+ years of technical pre-sales experience with compute, storage, and network solutions or cloud-based AI infrastructures. Expertise in AI/ML technologies including Transformers, Deep Neural Networks, Reinforcement Learning, ETL, and Data Engineering. Understanding of hardware accelerators such as GPUs and DPUs and their roles in scaling AI infrastructures. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with a talent for conducting engaging workshops on AI topics for various audiences. Strong interpersonal skills including teamwork, problem-solving, and customer engagement. Experience with AI solutions from vendors like Nvidia, AMD, Intel, Microsoft, Google, Meta, Dell, HPE, and others. Deep knowledge of language models such as GPT-3, LLaMA, BERT, or similar architectures. Experience deploying large language models (LLMs) in training, fine-tuning, and distributed inferencing environments. Familiarity with popular AI frameworks including PyTorch and TensorFlow. Understanding of databases such as Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, AI vector databases, and data platforms. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes for efficient model deployment. Why Cisco? Message to applicants considering employment in the U.S. and/or Canada: The starting salary range for this position is $257,800.00 to $325,400.00 and represents the anticipated salary for new hires within U.S. and/or Canada, excluding incentive compensation, equity, or benefits. Individual pay is determined based on hiring location, market conditions, relevant skills, experience, education, certifications, and training. Further compensation details can be provided during the hiring process.
