Über
L' Oeufrier Île-Perrot is looking for a Cuisinier to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and stock all menu items in compliance with recipes, portion sizes, and department standards
- Work with the culinary team to ensure proper preparation and presentation of all food items.
- Ensure that all food items are stored in accordance with departmental guidelines.
- Perform daily maintenance and sanitation tasks for the kitchen, including cleaning up the work area, changing of sanitizer tablets, and removing trash.
- Follow proper safety procedures and follow all local, state, and federal regulations regarding food production.
- Follow directions and work as a team to provide the best possible service to our customers.
- Assist with opening of kitchen during service hours as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Skills
- Work experience as a Cuisinier or Cook is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of kitchen appliances, tools, and sanitation guidelines is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills are required with an aptitude for taking measurements and proportions.
- Strong attention to detail is required with an aptitude for precision measurement.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
