Become a Picker/Packer in our Indianapolis, Indiana distribution center! We are looking for energetic individuals to accurately and efficiently select items for customer orders and prepare them for shipment. This role is a cornerstone of our **logistics** operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction. As a Picker/Packer, your duties will include:
- Receiving picking lists or using a handheld scanner to locate items in the warehouse.
- Accurately selecting the correct products and quantities for customer orders.
- Packing items securely and efficiently into boxes or other shipping containers.
- Applying shipping labels and ensuring all order information is correct.
- Conducting quality checks to ensure order accuracy and product condition.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhering strictly to all **safety** regulations and procedures.
- Using **PPE** (Personal Protective Equipment) as required for your role.
- Performing repetitive tasks involving standing, walking, and moderate **lifting** (up to 40 pounds).
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well under pressure, and has a strong sense of urgency. Prior experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial but not required. We provide comprehensive training on our **logistics** systems and **safety** protocols.
