Production Laborer

Job Description

Omega Products International is seeking a Production Laborer to support the formulation, production, and packaging of cement-based and resin-based products used in the construction industry. This role is hands-on and supports multiple stages of the manufacturing process, including mixing, packaging, quality checks, and material handling.

The Production Laborer will follow established formulas and standard operating procedures to ensure products are manufactured safely, accurately, and efficiently. This position may also assist with sample preparation, raw material testing, and general production support as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate production, mixing, and packaging equipment, including mixers, baggers, fillers, and labeling machines.
• Read and follow formulas, batch records, and production instructions accurately.
• Weigh, stage, and add raw materials, pigments, resins, and chemicals according to specifications.
• Transport raw materials and finished goods using an electric pallet jack.
• Start, monitor, and adjust production runs to meet quality standards and production schedules.
• Verify product weights and perform basic in-process quality and visual checks.
• Apply labels, closures, and packaging; ensure products are correctly packed and palletized.
• Operate touch-screen and HMI systems to monitor and control equipment.
• Complete required production and batch documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Follow all safety rules, quality guidelines, and company policies.
• Support multiple production and packaging tasks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Ability to work on your feet and perform repetitive tasks in a production environment.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and formulas.
• Experience with operating a forklift is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, especially with weights, measurements, and labeling.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Salary

• $19-$21 per hour with benefits
