Site Supervisor- Commercial Renovation

Job Summary

Florida Certified Contractors, LLC has one (1) Site Supervisor-Commercial Renovation position to fill, covering the NE Florida area. Not everyone will qualify so please read the requirements carefully.

As a Site Supervisor, you'll be responsible for oversight of construction, installation, and labor on jobs. This role typically works on one job at a time. Multiple jobs may be assigned periodically, as needed. Success in the role requires knowledge and experience of construction means and methods to be effective. Our jobs include:

• Exterior wood-framed building restoration
• Exterior concrete restoration (high-rises)
• Exterior water-proofing coatings and sealants
• Interior hospitality improvements

You are an ideal candidate if:

You live within 50min of St Augustine, FL, or are willing to relocate

you have 10+ years experience working on a commercial construction site

You have 4+ years leading construction crews

You are always the most organized person in the room and on-site

Key responsibilities include:

1. Project Execution and Construction:

2. Follow project schedules as laid out by the PM, Engineer, etc. We aware of any Plan B" alternatives

3. Track and communicate progress against the schedule daily
4. Study and know all jobsite plans and specifications
5. Complete all paperwork
6. Think ahead of the current work being done, and "make ready" for the next phases or sections, typically the next 5-10 days in detail

7. Produce works as needed

8. Onsite Team Management:

9. Monitor pace and quality of the work daily

10. Lead daily work huddles to review progress, assign tasks, and communicate all needed information
11. Make sure that work assigned follows the schedule and keeps the job on track
12. Prevent and correct work that takes the project off-track

13. Work to address conflicts within teams and subcontractors, reporting up to the PM

14. Communication

15. Establish lines of communication with the PM

16. Promptly answer emails and phone calls
17. Take Daily pictures of jobsite and progress, using CompanyCam
18. Communicate regularly with PM's about underperforming crews or individuals

19. Attend all Supervisor Meetings

20. Construction Means and Methods

21. Experience with understanding data sheets and reading plans

22. Know and enforce proper installation

23. Know and enforce proper site access, rigging, and safety

24. Purchasing:

25. In planning ahead, make necessary purchases, typically 1-7days ahead. Longer lead times should be discussed with the PM

26. Prepared orders ahead of time, to keep project moving
27. Manage vendor and subcontractors, for timely and accurate deliveries

28. Approve all purchase invoices in a timely manner, daily

29. Change Orders:

30. Alert the PM to needed change orders ahead of time

31. Safety Oversight:

32. Enforce safety standards throughout the project

33. Coordinate audits or inspections to ensure ongoing compliance

34. Continuous Improvement:

35. Constantly look for ways to eliminate waste and improve productivity

36. Make suggestions known regularly
37. Be looking for ways to grow and learn

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65, $75,000.00 per year
