Duration: 3-month contract (with possible extension)

Work Model: Hybrid – 4 days onsite, 1 day WFH

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $62–$65/hour (W2)

Interview Process: 2 virtual interviews

About the Role

The Process Improvement Manager will lead and support process improvement initiatives across project management and operational functions. This role is part of the Continuous Improvement & Client Performance team, focused on reducing risk, improving efficiency, and minimizing defects across all project and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities | Day-to-Day Tasks

  • Research, analyze, and gain a thorough understanding of existing processes; formally document current-state workflows and maintain a roadmap for future process improvement opportunities.
  • Manage the process improvement project pipeline, including creation and maintenance of project plans, business cases, cost-benefit analyses, training materials, and communication plans.
  • Facilitate change management activities by assessing impacts to project scope, priorities, timelines, and resource allocations.
  • Design, develop, and implement complex process efficiency initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Track, report, and communicate project performance, risks, and status updates to management, senior leadership, and key stakeholders; escalate issues as needed.
  • Identify tools, systems, equipment, and methodologies that can be modified or leveraged to improve operational efficiency and product quality.
  • Manage compliance and governance programs, ensuring adherence to Master Service Agreement (MSA) requirements.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors aligned with values; influence cross-functional stakeholders to align on shared objectives.
  • Apply functional expertise while collaborating effectively with cross-disciplinary teams to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues that may not be clearly defined within existing systems or processes.

Qualifications | What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 3+ years of experience in process improvement, project management, or related fields; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Proven experience within the AEC industry (Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields) strongly preferred.
  • Background in both project management and process improvement is ideal.
  • Corporate interior renovation experience preferred; financial client experience is a plus.
  • Experience working in a corporate real estate environment preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience in gap analysis and resolution.
  • Ability to communicate sensitive, complex, and challenging information effectively while managing expectations and resolving issues.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Visio (required).
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a proactive, inquisitive, and problem-solving mindset.
