You Are:
The Software Architect is responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, defining architectural standards, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
The opportunity:
Design and maintain software architecture for complex applications and systems.
Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and development teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Define and enforce coding standards, architectural principles, and best practices.
Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve system performance and maintainability.
Conduct architecture reviews and provide guidance to development teams.
Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and performance requirements.
Participate in technical risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
Mentor junior architects and developers.
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What you need:
Strong experience in software architecture design, including microservices, cloud-native applications, and distributed systems.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, .NET, Python, or similar.
Proficiency in Typescript Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Knowledge of API design, integration patterns, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location:Remote
Compensation Range: $106,000-$159,000
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.
