This position will evaluate, improve, and implement logistics processes; monitor, report on, and manage to KPI targets; and execute logistics related projects to drive improvements in safety, quality, customer experience, efficiency, and working environment. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned:

  1. Execute projects as assigned by the Director of Logistics.  Identify and coordinate resources, develop and manage to project timelines, and drive collaboration with stakeholders for on-time project delivery and success.  
  1. Evaluate current logistics policies and processes, recommend improvements, and implement approved changes
  1. Develop and implement new logistics policies and processes including assisting with communication to organization
  1. Document standard operating procedures, applying document control and organization to help standardize processes and provide training aids
  1. Conduct beginning-to-end SAP process project testing, as required, to ensure business continuity
  1. Analyze KPI data and implement changes to manage to KPI targets
  1. Implement physical racking and bin additions, and similarly create systemic bins in SAP EWM, to increase storage utilization
  1. Vet and test new technology
  1. Assist with SAP EWM settings and configuration management to aid in current and new processes
  1. Perform material master product weight corrections to ensure data accuracy and process efficiency 

Other Responsibilities:

Perform select back-up duties for Director of Logistics, Parts Distribution Supervisor, Warehouse Supervisor, Receiving Lead, or Inventory Manager.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related discipline and five years experience in logistics or distribution operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel.  Experience with inventory management systems and ERP systems required.  SAP experience (SD, MM, and EWM) strongly preferred.

Certificates and Licenses:
Current valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a passport for travel as required by position.  

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no routine supervisory responsibilities; however, will lead and direct others involved in project execution and when serving in a back-up capacity to supervisors.
