Job Title: Commercial HVAC Estimator

Location: Lancaster, PA (Onsite)

Duration: Fulltime

Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, specifications, and proposals to prepare accurate HVAC system cost estimates.
• Perform take-offs, material and labor calculations, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and labor.
• Analyze project specifications and blueprints to determine scope of work and identify potential challenges.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure estimates align with project requirements and budgets.
• Stay updated with local and national HVAC codes and regulations to ensure compliance in all estimates.
• Attend pre-construction meetings and project site visits when necessary to gather data and assess conditions.
• Provide clear, comprehensive, and timely estimates for HVAC projects, including equipment, labor, and materials

Qualifications
:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC estimating for commercial construction projects.
• Experience with design-build projects and integrated project delivery
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, codes, and commercial building construction processes
• Previous experience with CAD and Revit is beneficial.
• Proficiency in HVAC estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and scope documents accurately.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to interact with clients, vendors, and project teams
