Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Daycare Supervisor to lead our team and ensure the highest standards of care for our children. In this vital role, you will oversee daily classroom activities, manage staff, and create a positive atmosphere that promotes learning and growth. Your leadership will help shape a welcoming space where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to explore.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the daycare, including classroom activities and routines for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
• Lead and support staff in implementing developmentally appropriate curricula aligned with childhood education principles
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including first aid procedures and health protocols
• Manage classroom management strategies to foster positive behavior and social skills among children
• Coordinate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address concerns effectively
• Oversee caregiving duties such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and outdoor play
• Maintain a clean, organized environment that supports early childhood development and safety standards

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings
• Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices in childcare
• Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus
• Demonstrated classroom management skills and ability to handle behavior management effectively
• Experience with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children; familiarity with toddler care is preferred
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with staff and families
• Ability to lead a team with enthusiasm, patience, and professionalism
