CNC Operator Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist (mainly lathes and swiss) to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in operating CNC machinery. You will be responsible for producing precision parts and components by setting up and operating various CNC machines, ensuring quality control throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC screw machines and lathes according to specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files to fabricate parts.
• Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations during production.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency, but also have the ability to work independently.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the machining process.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in tooling and machining operations.
• Familiarity with CNC programming and operation, including CAD software.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Experience in quality control processes to maintain high standards of production.
• Ability to fabricate parts using various machining techniques.
• Previous experience operating milling machines and lathes is required.
• Spanish speaking is a plus but not required.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
