Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and nurturing Infant Teacher to create a warm, safe, and stimulating environment for our youngest learners. In this vital role, you will support the early developmental stages of infants by providing attentive care, engaging activities, and fostering a sense of security. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving care to infants, ensuring their physical needs such as feeding, diapering, and nap times are met promptly and compassionately
- Design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote sensory exploration, motor skills development, and early cognitive growth
- Monitor infants' developmental milestones and communicate progress or concerns with parents or guardians effectively
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum activities that support early childhood development principles
- Follow all licensing requirements and childcare policies to ensure compliance with local regulations
Skills
- Minimum 2 years of professional teaching experience with infant age group.
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field of study and/or current, unexpired CDA.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
- High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
- A strong understanding of child development.
- Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
- Requirements include the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels. May also be required to kneel, bend, squat or crawl.
- A specific vision ability will be required including the ability to see up close and up to a certain distance, to see colors, have peripheral vision and depth perception.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Pay: $ $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 per week
