Warehouse work/Furniture delivery

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Worker / Furniture Delivery Specialist to join our team. This role involves handling warehouse operations and delivering furniture to customers, ensuring a positive experience through excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse logistics, delivery driving, and heavy lifting, with a focus on safety and efficiency. Duties

• Load and unload furniture and other items using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques
• Safely operate box trucks or commercial vehicles for delivery routes
• Deliver furniture to residential or commercial locations, ensuring timely and accurate service
• Assist customers with product placement and assembly if needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area
• Follow route schedules and driving directions to optimize delivery efficiency
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations during all warehouse and delivery activities
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns professionally during deliveries

Requirements

• Prior experience in warehouse operations, delivery driving, or courier services preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; Commercial driver's license (CDL) or driver certification is a plus
• Experience operating box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles preferred
• Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly and perform physical tasks such as moving furniture or boxes
• Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
• Ability to navigate routes efficiently and adhere to scheduled delivery times
• Experience with route driving and load & unload procedures necessary for timely deliveries
• Reliable transportation to commute between warehouse and delivery locations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
