Join Our Team at DCFS as an Administrative Program Specialist C. This position maintains relationships with DCFS staff and vendors. This position reconciles and audits invoices.

Minimum Qualifications

Five years of experience in administrative services; OR

Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus two years of experience in administrative services; OR

A bachelor's degree plus two years of experience in administrative services; OR

An advanced degree plus one year of experience in administrative services.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

  • Assist with ensuring staff compliance with procedures.
  • Attends meetings as needed.
  • Responds to requests to provide information or clarification, or to ensure any changes made are processed in a timely manner.
  • Monitors and ensures implementation of projects upon completion.
  • Takes ownership of questions or problems and leads them through to resolution.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Position-Specific Details:

Appointment Type: Probational, Promotional, or Job Appointment

Work Schedule: Typically, work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Flexible work schedules are available after meeting certain criteria and is dependent upon the position you are applying for. Some positions require working shifts.
