Summary

As a Transport Driver at Transportation By Jackson, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and goods across various routes. This role is essential to our mission of providing reliable and efficient transportation solutions while ensuring the highest standards of service.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate vehicles including buses, vans, and shuttles to transport passengers and goods.
• Communicate effectively with passengers to provide information and assistance during transit.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure safety standards are met.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking as needed, particularly those requiring special assistance.
• Document daily activities, including mileage and any incidents that occur during transport.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in paratransit or similar driving roles is preferred.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with passengers and team members.
• Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations while ensuring passenger safety.
• Familiarity with local traffic regulations and routes.
