26ft Box Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced 26ft Box Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a box truck to deliver goods, provide excellent customer service, and ensure timely and accurate deliveries. This role requires a professional driver with strong driving skills, physical stamina, and the ability to manage loading and unloading tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26ft box truck for local or regional deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling of goods
• Manage delivery routes efficiently, maintaining accurate delivery schedules and documentation
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and stock organization
• Handle heavy lifting and moving of goods, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of the truck throughout the workday

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record, preferably with driver experience or courier background
• Proven experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles, including route driving and load & unload operations
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to moving goods safely
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus
• Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during interactions with clients
• Excellent navigation skills for route planning and timely deliveries
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining safety standards
• Prior delivery driver experience is highly desirable
