Employment Type: Part-Time (4–10 hours/week) with the possibility of more hours as scheduled by management.

Pay: $23-$27 per hour depending on experience

Location: Various Community Partner Sites (East Denver, CO).

Position Summary:

As a Snapology Instructor, you are the spark that turns curiosity into discovery. This is a rewarding role where you bring STEM to life through play and hands-on learning, helping children ages 5–12 develop critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. You aren't just following a lesson plan; you are leading an interactive experience. By using popular tools like LEGO bricks for engineering, robotics and themed classes, you will guide students through hands-on challenges that turn complex concepts into creative fun. This role also involves building strong, professional relationships with parents, students, and community partners, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

This position is ideal for someone energetic, dependable, and passionate about fostering learning in a hands-on, supportive environment.

Schedule & Locations

  • Hours: Part-time, 4–10 hours per week with opportunities for more hours.
  • Timeframe: Mondays and Tuesdays from 3:00pm to 5:00pm and Wednesday from 4:00-6:00p. More classes available starting in April.
  • Consistency: Primarily weekday afternoons with 1.5-hour on-site sessions.
  • Locations: Various community partner sites across East Denver including but not limited to schools, recreation centers and other businesses.
  • Bonus Opportunities for more hours: Additional shifts available for special events, birthdays, and holiday programs as scheduled by management.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Play-Based Learning: Guide groups of 6-20 students between the ages of 5-12 in structured, curriculum-guided programs with enthusiasm and a love for learning.
  • Curriculum Provided: We provide all the materials and the curriculum so you can focus on teaching Very little prep before each class. Grab and Go
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a high-energy, safe, and inclusive environment. You'll use effective strategies to keep students engaged, on-task, and excited to learn.
  • Material Organization: Maintain organized, well-managed classrooms, ensuring materials are counted and stored properly.
  • Responsive Communication: Keep management updated with any programs and respond quickly to calls, texts, or emails.
  • Safety First: Follow all Snapology and facility procedures for the safety of all children.
  • Care for Materials: Safeguard and maintain Snapology's teaching kits and technology, keeping them in excellent condition.
  • Mindset: Patient, energetic, and able to "think on your feet" when a tower collapses or a robot doesn't move.
  • Reliability: Since these are after-school programs, punctuality is non-negotiable. You must have reliable transportation to various school sites.

Additional Details and Qualifications:

  • Paid training along with all supplies and curriculum.

  • Comfort with bending, stooping, and lifting up to 40-50 lbs.
  • Background check required before starting.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $27.00 per hour
