Closing Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Closing Bartender to join our team.

Who must be available to work weekends and available to start immediately.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring the bar area is properly closed and cleaned at the end of each shift In line with our standards and procedures.

This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a solid understanding of food safety and hospitality standards.

Experience with POS systems such as Toast POS and Micros POS is preferred, along with a background in fine dining, pubs, nightclub, or banquet settings.

The Closing Bartender plays a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining operational efficiency during closing hours. They are also responsible for cash tip handling and the final checks at the end of shift.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining high customer service standards.
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions accurately using systems like Toast POS or Micros POS.
• Ensure all food safety and sanitation protocols are followed during service and closing procedures.
• Assist with cleaning the bar area, restocking supplies, and organizing inventory to prepare for the next day.
• Handle customer inquiries professionally, providing a positive experience for all patrons.
• Close out the register, balance cash drawers, and complete end-of-shift reports accurately.
• Do the final count and divide out the end of day cash tips from the floor and bar.
• Maintain compliance with all licensing, health, and safety regulations related to alcohol service.
• Support team members during busy periods by demonstrating excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Requirements

• Previous experience, minimum 2 years, in food service, restaurant, retail math, or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and alcohol serving regulations.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient closing procedures within designated hours.
• Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately using basic math skills.
• Experience working in fine dining, nightclub, banquet, catering, or food industry settings is a plus.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently during closing hours while maintaining attention to detail in cleaning and closing tasks.
