We are seeking a motivated, compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team. This role is essential to patient comfort, hospital efficiency, and the overall client experience. THE ROLE:

The Veterinary Assistant supports veterinarians and licensed technicians by providing high-quality patient care, assisting with medical and surgical procedures. They help maintain a clean, organized, and low-stress hospital environment. Veterinary Assistants play a critical role in reducing fear, anxiety, and stress for patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. Cross-training with Client Service Representative (CSR) duties will be important to assist in that role, at times, in this growing hospital.

YOU'LL BE THE PERFECT FIT IF YOU:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Have a minimum 1 year of experience in a veterinary practice or medical environment (preferred)
• Have compassion for animals and empathy toward clients
• Have a strong desire to grow veterinary knowledge and skills
• Are communicative about strengths and growth areas, and eager to keep learning
• Practice (or is excited to practice) low-stress, fear-free handling
• Communicate clearly, kindly, and collaboratively
• Have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Pay range $16-20/hour
• Full-time (32–40 hrs/week)
