Responsibilities:

Controller

· Lead and mentor a team of staff accountants and/or accounting managers, fostering development in areas including A/P, A/R, payroll, and more.

· Cultivate and strengthen client relationships — not only meeting their needs but anticipating them, and becoming a valued advisor to vendors, CPAs, customers, and other partners.

· Collaborate with clients to develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts, offering insights and recommendations tailored to their business goals.

· Oversee bill payments, monitor cash flow, and proactively advise clients on their financial position.

· Drive and own all aspects of month-end closing, including journal entries (prepaids, accruals, depreciation/amortization, equity/stock options, etc.).

· Manage all day-to-day financial and business operations for a portfolio of multiple clients in varied industries, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
