A career as a Senior Solutions Architect in the Digital Delivery and Banking Services team at National Bank is an opportunity to contribute directly to major digital transformation and hyper-automation projects.  You will work closely with the Bank's business and technology sectors to design integrated solutions with a high impact.
Your expertise in systems integration, process automation, cloud services and delivery of enterprise solutions is essential.  This, combined with your business acumen and communication and influence skills, will accelerate and modernise our operational capabilities.
Your role
  • Lead interactive workshops with stakeholders to understand their operational issues, define needs and co-build adapted solutions.
  • Design technological solutions to automate and optimise the Bank's key processes.
  • Identify hyper-automation opportunities (AI, advanced orchestration, smart decisions) to make automation more efficient, adaptive and scalable.
  • Integrate solutions into the existing technology ecosystem while contributing to its evolution.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture principles and document technical debt when necessary.
  • Coach and support your peers to share your expertise and strengthen the team's technological maturity.

Your team

It brings together several experts who work agile, proactively and collaboratively to seize technological opportunities, innovate and continuously improve our processes.
In the Technology and Operations sector, you are part of a large team of 16 architect colleagues and you will report to the Senior Manager - Solutions Architecture.  You will help design innovative and efficient solutions to improve the client experience.  The team stands out for its extensive expertise covering applications, data and infrastructure.

Prerequisites
  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience, or a related master’s degree and 6 years of experience.
  • Proven experience as an integrator solutions architect in a complex environment.
  • Knowledge of several of the following technologies/tools:
    • AWS (Textract, comprehend, Sagemaker, Step functions, SQS,  SSS, Lambda, etc.)
    • Microsoft Power Platform (Power automate, Power Apps)
    • Camunda, Kafka
    • Low Code / No Code tools
    • Python, JavaScript, APIs (an asset)
    • Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, etc. (an asset)
  • Experience in optimising, automating and redesigning processes.
  • Experience with solutions integrating artificial intelligence (an asset)
  • Ability to lead workshops with various stakeholders.
