Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care across diverse clinical settings. Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews across various age groups such as pediatrics, geriatrics, and neonatal patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, including medication management, wound care, suturing, IV infusions, and pain management strategies.
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations utilizing laboratory results, medical imaging reports, sonography, and other diagnostic tools; interpret ICD-10 and CPT coding for documentation accuracy.
  • Administer injections, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments for aesthetic or therapeutic purposes, and assist with procedures like spinal taps or catheterizations.
  • Manage acute conditions in emergency room or ICU settings; provide triage services and coordinate urgent care or hospital transfers when necessary.
  • Utilize EMR systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks to document patient encounters thoroughly while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Engage in telehealth consultations to expand access to care; participate in clinical research projects to advance evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, utilization review, and post-acute care strategies for diverse patient populations.

Requirements

  • Current Nurse Practitioner licensure with valid certification in your practicing state.
  • Proven experience in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, critical care (ICU or Level I/II trauma centers), or specialty areas such as gastroenterology or behavioral health.
  • Strong clinical skills including suturing, phlebotomy, sterile technique, catheter care, and airway management.
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner; experience with Athenahealth is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ICD-9/10 coding standards (including CPT) for accurate documentation and billing processes.
  • Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics (children/toddlers), seniors in assisted living or memory care facilities, and patients with complex needs such as hospice & palliative medicine or infectious disease care.
  • Ability to perform physical examinations confidently; proficient in specimen collection/processing and laboratory experience.
  • Excellent communication skills for patient education on health coaching topics such as nutrition or medication adherence; adept at working within multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Pay: From $50.00 per hour
