Truck Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to commercial and residential destinations across the US. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic laws, and excellent customer service skills. You will operate a 26' non-CDL straight truck to ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport freight to designated locations while adhering to all traffic regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Load and unload cargo.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and delays.
• Ensure all cargo is secured properly before departure to prevent damage.
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety and compliance.

Skills

• Proven experience as a truck driver with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations.
• Strong navigation skills with the ability to use GPS effectively.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• Attention to detail in maintaining accurate records and ensuring vehicle safety.
• A valid commercial driver's license (non-CDL) is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $0.45 - $0.60 per mile
