Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined individual to join our lab team as an Electromechanical Technician. In this role, you will work closely with our lab staff to inspect, repair, service, and test gas monitoring devices and related components. In addition, this position offers the opportunity to learn advanced techniques in electronic assembly, gain exposure to product development, and support ongoing innovation within a growing technical team.
Key Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
- Assemble electronic and electromechanical components with precision and adherence to schematics.
- Accurately document work activities using production logs, calibration records, and test reports.
- Identify and report nonconforming components and assist in quality assurance evaluations.
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace following company safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to resolve technical issues.
- Actively participate in team meetings, technical training, and process improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow technical skills through on-the-job training and continued education.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned by EEW Management.
Preferred Skills & Experience (Training can be provided for the right candidate)
- Proficient in soldering and de-soldering techniques for through-hole and surface mount components.
- Skilled in wire stripping, crimping, and cable assembly.
- Familiarity with the application of conformal coating on circuit boards.
- Competent in using digital multimeters to measure voltage, resistance, current, and diode functionality.
- Understanding of electronic component identification and assembly standards.

Technical Tools & Software
- Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, TEAMS
- Basic familiarity with production or lab documentation tools preferred
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Associate degree in Electronic Engineering Technology or related field is a plus
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency ("Green Card" holder) required
